INVITATION
What is it about:
MA-KA-DO is an bike-orienteering event in pairs. During the time limit (120 minutes for parent+child, 180 or 300 minutes for others) couple should gain maximum points by visiting as many check points (CP) as possible with preferably highest point values. The route is chosen by the couple itself depending on their physics, orienteering skills and value of each CP. Values of the CPs will be given to the bikers after the start, map with marked CPs at the registration. There is a deduction for exceeding the time limit. Rank will be determined by the sum of the achieved points. If two couples have the same score, the one with better time would be placed better.
This year, there will be an accessory event on Sunday - MTBO sprint (following the real MTBO rules). Each competitor will be given a map with marked start, control points and finish. Mission is to find all CPs in given order, best time wins! Competition will take place in Rusovce's park, meadow forrests and close to (very close to...) famous Rusovce's nude beach. This event is free of charge for all MAKADO competitors!. More information about this event in standalone invitation (to be published soon).

Categories

Fees
Depending on entry date
until 31.8. 15€ / couple,
until 13.9. 20€ / couple,
after 14.9. 25€ / couple.
Following is included in starting fee: Two superdetailed bikemaps of Male Karpaty 1:25000, format A2, own production of ŠK VAZKA, drinks in finish and start in accessory event - MTBO sprint - on Sunday 20.9. in Rusovce

Remaks
- It is required to ride carefully. Safety is much more important than victory in competition!
- All competitors start at their own risk. Persons younger 18yrs need a written permission from their parents.
- Everyone must report to finish, even in case of unforeseen problems.
- All competitors must have helmet - no exceptions!
